This compact and lightweight lens offers high performance standard zoom (26-78mm equivalent). With a fast F/2.8 aperture, it delivers optimum creative flexibility over its entire focal-length range. The minimum focus distance of 0.29m (11.4 inches) offers exquisite close-up images. The incorporated VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism ensures sharpness and anti-shake. Additionally, it uses tri-axial image stabilization system during shooting. The three compound aspheric elements and Low Dispersion LD glass ensures excellent correction and color quality. The BBAR coating technique increases light transmission in both long and short wavelengths. The lens mount works best with Nikon II and Canon cameras.
