The Walkman brand has been totally revitalized. Sony Ericsson Walkman W8 is the first Walkman phone running on Android platform. The futuristic phone is made for those music lovers who love to associate themselves with the smash hit Walkman brand. The W8 Walkman™ phone comes with a Walkman™ player that lets you create your own playlists and listen to music your way, Hip hop beats or jangly guitars, Country & Western or Northern Soul, or Bollywood ballads, whatever your flavor is. A Walkman Android Phone is a combination of entertainment and ease of use.
Besides being a music phone, Walkman W8 is also an Android phone (Download any application you want from Android Market™ and customize your W8 Walkman™ phone to make it exclusively your), it runs on the Android v2.1 version. A 600 MHz ARM 11 processor is what beats inside the phone with an Adreno 200 GPU for superfast graphics build up and a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset to add to the speed of the processor.
Walkman W8 has a 3.0 Inches TFT capacitive display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 million vibrant colors. Sony Ericsson Timescape™ lets all your communication with a person come together in one place. Facebook™ posts, calls, text messages - all gathered, so you don't have to open loads of different apps to see what's going on. Connect through 3G or Wi-Fi, type your messages on the virtual QWERTY keyboard, find your way with Google Maps and GPS, and customize the four corners of your homescreen, Walkman™ player on top, YouTube™ on bottom left or however it suits you. The User Interface has such an intelligent design that you’ll instantly love to use with the phone.
