The HDC-SD40 is Panasonic's entry-level MOS HD camcorder, the world's lightest ultra-compact camcorder weighing just 169g. The camcorder is equipped with a wide range of essential features such as 1.19 Megapixels MOS sensor, 2.7 inch wide screen LCD and the Image Stablizer.

It lets you record images continuously for approximately 135 minutes with a single battery charge, making it very handy for recording while traveling. You can even record far away subjects in clear detail courtesy, it’s advanced 16.8x Optical Zoom.The range of highly developed functions enhances its capability to shoot good photographs at high sensitivity and high speed.The SD40 comes enclose with Panasonic's HD Writer LE 1.0 software that helps you to import data, share via YouTube and Facebook, add and edit recording, and save what you've snapped for the future.
