Q1. Why do I need Warranty Extension Plan?
Standard Warranty provided by the manufacturer covers services to your product only upto a limited period of time, mostly only one year. As we all know, the cost of repairs after warranty period is over, leaves us with no option but to be ready to incur very high cost of repairs; sometime as high as almost equal to the cost of a new product.
ServeSHIELD Warranty Extension plan provides a very low cost solution to the higher costs that you might incur. With extended time and enhanced coverage and services, you can enjoy your product worry-free with complete peace of mind.
With this Plan:
· You can extend the term of your coverage for up to additional 2 years.
· You are entitled to UNLIMITED repairs during the Coverage period. Every time your product fails, contact us and we will repair it. If your product is not repairable, we can provide a replacement also (pls refer to details in the plan document)
· Taking service is easy, convenient, and takes just a phone call or email.
· Dedicated customer support to request service at your convenience.
· Your Plan is transferrable to subsequent users/owners and may qualify for renewal.
Q2. What is covered under my plan?
The plan covers call center support, the cost of labour, components and internal spare parts which are standard to the product at the time of purchase.
Q3. What is not covered under my plan?
Pre-existing, pending for repair defective conditions known to you i.e. those conditions incurred prior to the plan purchase date, Normal wear & tear, corrosion or rusting, Damage caused by unauthorized repair, theft, burglary and accident, terrorism, abuse or misuse of the product, fire, use of the product on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm activity, voltage supply problems, etc.

Q5. What are the types of service options available?
The extended warranty works broadly under two plans except in few cases for different products-
Carry in Service - This means that when Intarvo Call Centre diagnoses a hardware problem in the product then you will be required to carry the defective unit along with the copy of the plan to the authorized Service Centre. The cost of replaced components, parts and labor will be borne entirely by Intarvo; while the costs for transportation of the defective unit to the authorized service centre and collecting it back will be borne by the customer.
Onsite Service - This means if the Intarvo call centre diagnoses a hardware problem, then it will schedule a visit of an engineer to your premises from the nearest authorized service centre. In this case all the cost of labor, travel, components will be borne by the company. However if your location is more than 40 km away from the nearest authorized centre then you will be required to carry the defective unit along with. In such a case the cost of travel will be borne by the customer whereas the cost of parts and repair will be borne by the company.

Q6. Why should I register my plan?
Registration of your plan ensures that the Service Agreement contains all the required information to link the product and plan to you. It's fast and easy.
Q7. How do I register my plan?
To register, please fill-in the attached Registration Form and send to us along with a copy of invoice of the purchase of your product which must mention the product details including unit serial number. You can Register by any of the below:

Q8. If my item breaks down, what should I do?
If you face any problem with the hardware of your product, please:
· Call us at the Toll-Free Number 1800 102 3451 or as mentioned in the ServeSHIELD plan documents,.

Once we receive your service request, we will quickly try to solve the problem. If the problem is not solved, we will either visit you or guide you to take your product along with a copy of proof of this plan to the nearest authorized service center. Once you carry your product to the center, we will take care of the rest. Please note that our visit to your premises is subject to the conditions of onsite service plan.
Q9. Can I request to cancel my plan?
If you have purchased the plan in error, You may request to cancel this plan within 15 days of purchase. To cancel, simply return the plan documents along with a notice of cancellation to the sales dealer from where you purchased this plan who is empowered by us to help you with the cancellation process.
Q10. If I cancel my plan, what will I get as a refund?
In case of the cancellation, we will refund you the balance amount after adjusting taxes and cost of services during this period. The balance refund amount, if any, will be paid to you within 60 days of acceptance of your cancellation notice.
Q11. What happens if my product cannot be repaired?
In those cases, you will receive a replacement product of like, kind and quality.
