Kent Mineral RO Water Purifier GRAND+ 2 5 1 1

This product wastes 12 litres for every 8 litres purfied I just purchased my Kent water purifier yesterday and was surprised to hear from the service person that in RO, for eight litres of water that Kent purifies it releases 12litres through the waste pipe. This is preposterous . Upon calling up the dealer, I was informed that the water wasted depends on the quality of water in the locality.Fair enough. But since all major localities in metros depend mainly on ground water the water will obviously have high salt content. Kent goes a step further and recommends to use the wasted water for gardening and cleaning utensils. Water in a precious commodity. Please re-engineer your product. Regards, Santhosh 1 October, 2011
