Canon DSLR EOS 7D (Body Only)

After extensive research, in order to give photographers ample grounds to experiment with their photography, Canon has brought out the new DSLR EOS 7 D.

Incorporating a new 18 Mega Pixel, APS-C CMOS Sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 processor, makers of the EOS 7D have provided its users with fast, high quality performance in all light conditions. The DSLR allows continuous shooting at 8 frames per second and offers an ISO range that is expandable up to 12,800.

With an improved Auto-Focus system the EOS 7D features a 19-point cross-type AF sensor, enabling photographers to achieve accurate shots. This improved AF system offers a range of manual and automatic settings too, including Zone and Spot AF to track and capture subjects quickly and accurately.

The camera is designed in a way that different AF points can be set for vertical or horizontal orientation. So, now, without touching a single button, photographers can automatically switch between landscape and portrait shots.

Along with a 3 inch solid structure clear view II LCD screen, the DSLR also has 920,000dot/VGA resolution. The new screen has a viewing angle of 160 degrees and is effective even in bright light. It features an intelligent viewfinder that offers 100 percent frame coverage. The LCD in the viewfinder provides for a range of tools to help frame a shot with the AF points, the spot metering circle and composition grid. It is also the first EOS to introduce a Dual-Axis Electronic Level- in the viewfinder and on the LCD- that indicates both pitch and roll angles.

Its new additional features include the quick control button, integrated speed lite transmitter, extensively upgraded, built-in flash including manual control, wider flash coverage to cover focal length as wide as 15mm and a dedicated Live View/Video Recording button. It offers a full 1080p HD video capture with selectable frame rates of 24p, 25p or 30p (50p or 60p at 720p HD and SD).

However, the best thing about this camera is that a photographer can design his own experience: camera options are customizable, allowing the user to assign frequently used functions and settings to convenient controls. This enables photographers to save time when shooting critical moments, by changing settings quickly.
